AIESEC Alumni Malaysia

AIESEC Alumni Malaysia (AAM) was founded in 1998 as a network of AIESEC alumni living in Malaysia. AAM is focused on social networking and community-based activities for the alumni including as a platform for former AIESECers to continue to contribute back to AIESEC in Malaysia.

The network was officially registered as an Association with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia in 2004. Today, AIESEC Alumni members are located all over the world, working in various professions and industries and contribute actively to the local communities where they work and live.

Over the years, AIESEC and its alumni, recognise the importance of sustaining a strong partnership between AIESEC members and the alumni as a key success factor for both AIESEC and the Alumni Association. This recognition underscores the fact that the continued communication and partnership between AIESEC members and the alumni are important for the growth and development of both organisations. AIESEC members are the future of the alumni and the alumni is a valuable source of knowledge and network for AIESEC members.

In Malaysia, AAM continues with its mission to reconnect former AIESECers living in Malaysia with the opportunity to actively contribute to the local communities especially AIESECers in Malaysia. The Association also aspires to become a platform for the alumni to network and create working opportunities for business or community-based initiatives.

The Association’s key objectives are:

• Provide a platform for AIESEC Alumni to network for social, business or community-based initiatives in Malaysia and around the world
• Contribute to the communities where AIESEC Alumni live and work including becoming a source of knowledge and network for AIESECers
• Become a channel of communication between AIESEC in Malaysia and the Alumni
• Build a strong relationship with AIESEC in Malaysia and AIESEC Alumni International
